Book Launch Event Held at Wimalasurendra Auditorium

Colombo, November 27, 2024 – The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL), hosted a successful book launch today at the Wimalasurendra Auditorium. The event, presided over by the President and Immediate Past President of IESL, featured the unveiling of two groundbreaking books authored by esteemed engineers in the industry

The first book, A Practical Guide for Personal Development, authored by Eng. M.Y. Zainudeen, provides invaluable insights and strategies for professional growth and self-improvement. The second publication, Air Conditioning Systems for Residential and Commercial Buildings, by Eng. Chandana Dalugoda, serves as a comprehensive resource on modern air conditioning systems, catering to both technical professionals and industry stakeholders.

The event began at 3:00 PM and was attended by a large gathering of engineers, academics, and members of the public. IESL President, in his keynote address, emphasized the importance of continued learning and innovation in engineering, lauding the authors for their contributions to the profession.
